| PETS Background |
| Pempena Executive Taxi Service or better known as PETS was launched on 2nd day of February 2007 as the pioneer provider of executive taxi service. The decision to improve and upgrade the quality of transportation services was inspired by Datuk Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, the Tourism Minister & was the Cabinet’s decision for Pempena to spearhead the “Executive Taxi” industry.

The formation of PETS is also in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2007 campaign where top quality executive taxi service can be rendered to tourists with the aim of giving a good impression and hope to continue its superb executive taxi services beyond VMY 2007.

PETS is 100% owned by Pempena Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tourism Malaysia; it has net tangible assets (NTA) of RM64million as at year end of 2006.
